The Diviners, written by Hoosier playwright Jim Leonard Jr.,  takes place in the fictional southern Indiana town of Zion during the 1940's. It is being produced in partnership with Casey Ross Productions and Carmel Theatre Company, in honor of Indiana's 200th anniversary.

Performance dates are: Thurs. Fri. Sat., April 14-17 at 8:00 p.m. , Thurs. Fri. Sat., April 22-23, at 8:00 p.m., and Sun. April 24 at 2:30 & 8:00 p.m. at Studio 15 at 15 First Ave., N.E.

The story focuses on Buddy, a mentally challenged boy who can divine water. He encounters a traveler who becomes his mentor and then falls in love with Buddy's sister. The themes of gossip, suspicion, and faith are examined.
